Howard County Seeks Entries for Coloring Book Contest Promoting “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle”

Howard County’s Department of Public Works’ Bureau of Environmental Services invites Howard County students, grades third through fifth, to participate in its annual Coloring Book Contest promoting the importance of the three R’s: “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.” Drawings should be done on white, unlined 8.5” by 11” paper in black marker or ink – no color, and should show how each artist practices at least one of the three R’s.  For complete contest rules, visit the “Coloring Book Contest!” website or contact your child’s school art teacher.

Completed drawings and contest entry forms are due by 5:00 p.m., January 26, 2024, and can be hand delivered or mailed to  Meleine Yao, Recycling Division, 9801 Broken Land Parkway, Columbia, MD 21046.
