Every Step Counts Autism Walk & 5K Run - Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for the Autism Society's annual Every Step Counts Autism Walk & 5K Run on Oct. 3, 2026 at Centennial Park in Ellicott City.  The event is the organization's largest of the year, a superhero-themed event that features:

• 5K Run, 4K Walk, and 1K Stroll  
• FREE superhero capes 
• Live music, food trucks, entertainment
• A Kids Zone featuring superheroes, face painting, inflatables, sensory tent, stilt walker
• The crowd-favorite Super Pooch Parade, complete with free dog bandanas
• Awards for top runners, fundraising, and best costumes

We need volunteers to assist with everything from set up and clean-up to race course support and check-in.
