PUNimals: Wordplay You Can Hold

What happens when you combine an animal with an unexpected object, action, or idea? You get a PUNimal!

Explore a collection of approximately 30 original 3D-designed and printed creatures created from visual and verbal puns. Examine each creature, try to figure out its name, then flip the accompanying placard to see if you solved the pun.

Along the way, explore how puns work, experiment with wordplay, and invent a brand-new PUNimal of your own. Sketch your creature, give it a punny name, and imagine how your two-dimensional idea might someday become a three-dimensional object.

Meet the creator, hear how a simple game of “What If?” led to more than 200 PUNimals.
