Fidos For Freedom Juniors Program

The Fidos For Freedom Juniors program offers an opportunity for young people, who want to make a difference in our community, to build their disability awareness, participate in Fidos Programs, and learn basic dog handler skills while earning their community service hours. Our 3 times a month meetings cover educational, public service, and fun goals including classroom style instruction about how disabilities affect peoples lives, listening to guest speakers, joining our Therapy Dog teams on client visits, participating in immersive learning through role playing dog handling situations, getting practical hands-on experience with our Therapy Dog team volunteers, and having fun helping with Fidos For Freedom social functions and fundraising.
