Howard EcoWorks is a non-profit based in Howard County with a goal to restore the environment while providing job-readiness skills to youth.
What's READY?
- Short for Restoring the Environment and Developing Youth
- A program that provides summer employment to young adults ages 16 to 25.
What do you do?
- Build and maintain conservation landscapes such as rain gardens and pollinator gardens
- Provide habitat management services to the County and community.
- Learn about environmental restoration and careers in the green jobs industry
- Gain valuable leadership skills and other soft skills in a team environment
- Become a certified Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional Associate
