You Can Read Project for Students (Age 8-13) for English and Spanish Speaking Students

You Can Read Program is a Howard County funded  innovative reading proficiency program for students experiencing reading proficiency problems. Classes begin Saturday, February 11, 2023, thru September 2023 from 1-3PM except for holiday weekends; and are  staffed with a Masters level, certified Reading Specialist, currently working in HCPPS Schools and a bilingual Assistant. The project is designed to improve student reading, comprehension, listening, communication skills and reading levels. Reading is integrated into variety of creative art forms, digital learning experiences, and phonological methods/strategies are used to help students enjoy reading.   To register and pay registration fee go to www.girlsonfiremd.com or cclalinc.org.
