St. Louis Church Concert Series - Spring Concert: The Seven Last Words of Christ

Join us for a special Palm Sunday concert as we reflect on the Passion of Christ through a moving program of sacred music and spirituals. The centerpiece of the evening will be a rare opportunity to hear Theodore Dubois’ The Seven Last Words of Christ, a powerful and dramatic choral work that brings to life Christ’s final moments on the cross.   Additional selections include “The Holy City,” “Ride on, King Jesus,” “This Little Light of Mine,” as well as “It is Enough,” from Felix Mendelssohn’s oratorio Elijah. Soloists Trevor Scheunemann, Karla Rivera, and Hakeem Henderson perform.
