Barker S.T.A.R.S Adoptive Youth and Parent Workshops

BARKER S.T.A.R.S. parent and kids workshops will help provide you and your child with the skills, language, and confidence on how your unique family can tackle uncomfortable/invasive questions and comments about adoption. It is also a great opportunity for adopted kids to meet others who are adopted. Adopted children in grades 2-5 to have the chance to talk and process their feelings about adoption in a safe, age-appropriate way.  They will also explore what they are comfortable sharing with others, and become empowered to make choices on their own on what- and how- they wish to share information.  It is also a great opportunity for adopted kids to meet others who are adopted
