Meet the grandmother and 10-year-old grandson who wrote A Day on the Bay from A to Z. The two authors, Connor James Safrit and Mary O’Connor LoJacono, will talk about the creatures that live in the Chesapeake, from the Atlantic Ribbed Mussel (A) to the Zebra Swallowtail Butterfly (Z) and all the animals (and letters) in between. The book will spark conversations about the magic of the bay and conservation. The program will be held in the Conservancy’s Gudelsky Environmental Education Center. Recommended for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required. Space limited. https://howardnature.org/event/a-family-tale-of-the-bay/
