Twice a year, the Howard County Conservancy offers free training to volunteers who are interested in learning how to lead field trip hikes at our Mt. Pleasant location in Woodstock. The fall 2024 training sessions will take place on the following dates in September. (Click highlighted links to sign up.) All sessions run from 9-12 and begin with coffee and conversation. The only requirements are a passion for nature, a desire to share your knowledge of the natural world with children, and daytime availability for field trips.
