Learn how to make your home safer and prevent tragedies by using simple strategies to limit access to dangerous items. This workshop is open for everyone to learn more about how to take extra precautions especially when kids are in an environment where guns are or may be present. There will be opportunities to gain knowledge on safety tips, how to ask about gun storage, and having conversations with kids and adults.
Tuesday, 10/29/24 @ 6:30PM-8:00PM at the Harriet Tubman Cultural Center-Multipurpose Room.
This workshop is supported by the Howard County Crisis Intercept Mapping (CIM) team.
The workshop is free and no registration is required.
