Voter Awareness & Election Virtual Forum

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is a non-partisan organization. This event is not a election campaign event. There will be no policy questions. The purpose of this event is to share with the community the various roles they can play in the voting process such as voting advocacy and registering voters, running for office tips such as fund-raising, marketing, team building, and official 2024 voting information, including registering to vote at age 16 and how to become a certified voter registrant. Program participants include Black Girls Vote, a non-partisan organization with chapters at HBCUs; a panel of Howard County elected officials; and a Maryland State Board of Elections representative.
