Boys Becoming Great Men (BBGM) is a mentoring, leadership and character development program designed to help boys 10-14 reach their full potential be a success in life. BBGM provides a safe space for boys to be mentored by compassionate accomplished men. The program focus; building self-esteem and confidence, affirming assets, strengths, gifts and talents, providing mental health support, and life skills development.

BBGM is facilitated by mentors and a licensed social worker. Emphasis is also given to life skill and character development and academic achievement and the development of healthy life styles. Although one-one- mentoring is usually the method utilized, we have found group mentoring to be more effective. In this setting boys find a safe place to discuss their challenges among peers with similar concerns. Boys are also engaged in recreational sports and activities. Mentoring session occur on Saturdays.
The registration and enrollment fee is $25. The cost is quite low for the services so boys needing help can participate. Scholarships are also offered upon request.
