Columbia Warriors Basketball & STEM Camp – Summer 2025 The Columbia Warriors Basketball & STEM Camp is the perfect summer experience for young athletes and innovators! Campers will split their day between basketball skill development and an exciting STEM or officiating elective of their choice.
🏀 Camp Structure:
• Basketball Training: Campers will develop their game through skill drills, conditioning, scrimmaging, and film study, with new training techniques introduced each session to ensure ongoing development.
• Electives (Choose One):
1. Drone Building & Engineering – Campers will explore drone technology, learning to build and test different types of drones. Those attending multiple sessions may even advance into robotics as additional resources become available.
2. Coding & Game Development – Using content from My First Code, campers will follow a structured progression through the book’s curriculum. Those attending all four sessions will complete the entire program, covering everything from basic coding to building interactive projects. 3. Basketball Officiating & Referee Training – Older high school students can learn the rules of officiating and start their path toward referee certification, gaining leadership and in-game decision-making skills.
📅 Camp Sessions & Locations: Each session will be held at a Howard County public school, utilizing the gym for basketball training and classrooms or media rooms for STEM activities and officiating training. Specific locations will be announced before each session. • Session 1: June 16 – June 20
• Session 2: July 14 – July 18
• Session 3: July 28 – August 1
• Session 4: August 11 – August 15

• Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Location: Howard County public schools (specific locations will be announced)
• Cost: $295 per session
• Multi-Session Discount: Families enrolling in multiple sessions will receive a discounted rate. Since training and STEM activities change each session, campers who attend multiple weeks will build on their skills and experience a variety of new challenges.
