2nd Annual Howard County Children's Business Fair

Get started, hire yourself! Start a business and sell to customers at the Mall in Columbia on May 20th. 

At the HoCo Children's Business Fair, young entrepreneurs ages 6-15 from Maryland, DC, and Virginia will be open for business. Kids create a product or service, develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at this one-day marketplace. The children are responsible for the setup, sales, and interacting with customers, and any parent seen selling to the customer or promoting the child’s product will result in disqualification from the competition.
