Money Matters Event

Join us on Saturday April 1st 2023 from 10am to 1pm at the Harriet Tubman Cultural center for financial literacy activities for youth ages 8 - 17.  The youth will visit various stations and learn how to stay within budget.  There will be adult activities also.  

JA Inspire Virtual

JA Inspire Virtual is a one-of-a-kind career exploration event for students here in the Central Maryland region. Many local businesses from across the area are ready to show students what a day in the life of someone with their job looks like, how students can get that job, and what students need to do for the duration of their school career to be successful in that job.

Downtown Columbia Maker Faire

Join us for the Downtown Columbia Maker Faire, the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth! Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning, creating, and love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue to show off hobbies, experiments, projects, and careers.

The day includes family-friendly workshops, demonstrations, and presentations on painting, sculpting, robotics, digital art, and so much more! 

Youth Symposium

Join the Eta Zeta Sigma Chapter for the annual Youth Symposium, a simultaneous national initiative of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. held across the nation on the second Saturday of March.
