Civil Air Patrol Plans Open House Granite Cadet Squadron

1/7/2024 - GRANITE, Md. — The Granite Cadet Squadron, local unit of Civil Air Patrol, is hosting an open house at 1:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Maryland Wing, Civil Air Patrol Headquarters 3085 Hernwood Road, Woodstock, MD 21163. According to Lt. Col. Brenda A. Reed, squadron commander, "Civil Air Patrol is one of the best youth leadership development programs in the nation. Parents and prospective cadets hoping to expand their leadership skills and experiences or those seeking aviation/STEM education and training are most welcome to stop by our Open House and talk to our members directly about their experiences in the CAP cadet program. All are welcome!
