Coat Drive and Coat Giveaway Two Events

Winter Coats Needed!
The Howard County Public School System Office of Pupil Personnel Services and the PTA Council of Howard County are collecting new or gently used, clean coats of all sizes, along with hats, gloves, and scarves. Donations may be dropped off at the North Laurel Multiservice Center (9900 Washington Blvd, Laurel, MD) M-F between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM or at any Howard County Public School PTA by October 16, 2025. Please name the school you’re supporting when dropping off, as we are tracking which school collects the most coats. The Coat Giveaway will be held on October 18, 2025, from 10 AM–12 PM at the North Laurel Community Center (9411 Whiskey Bottom Rd, Laurel, MD). Volunteers are also needed to help on the day of the event.
