Organization
Seedlings runs in seasonal cohorts on Friday and Sunday mornings. Participants gather for child friendly and nature-based exploration and play stations, process art experiences, stories, songs, and short walks. Led by experienced early childhood educators who are Maryland naturalists. Gatherings take place at either our Freetown Farm (8000 Harriet Tubman Lane, Columbia) or Green Farmacy Garden (8210 Murphy Rd., Fulton, MD) locations.
Winter: Friday Cohort begins February 6th
Winter/Spring: Sunday Cohort begins February 22nd
Spring: Friday Cohort begins April 10th
Summer: Sunday Cohort only begins 06/07
Autumn: Sunday Cohort begins 09/20, Friday Cohort begins 09/25
Cost (if applicable)
Each 7 week cohort is $130 per family; children may be accompanied by a parent or caregiver and we recommend that if you have more than two kids in your family that you bring an additional adult for support (parents are responsible for their own kiddos).
