Join us on Sunday, April 12 for the first Columbia Guitar Expo, a free, all-ages event dedicated to the artistry and versatility of the guitar. Sponsored by Chamber Music Maryland.

Event Schedule

• 1 – 2 PM | Local High School Guitarist Showcase

  Local high school guitarists will open with a series of selected performances.

• 2 – 3 PM | Headlining Performance: Laurel Harned

  Classical guitarist Laurel Harned will perform an exploration of classical guitar through time, then stay for a Q&A session.

• 3 – 4 PM | Playtesting & Art
• Playtesting: Visit our guitar station to try out some musical instruments firsthand - featuring locally crafted guitars and basses.
• "Design a Guitar" Art Activity: Unleash your creativity at our art station and sketch your dream instrument.
